Terms and Conditions

‘The Organisers’ means Now on Earth and any business collaborating on a particular event.

Event Overview:

  • Wander Woman Wild Weekend is a weekend event that includes yoga (outdoors where possible), hiking activities, learning navigation, camping, and related activities (hereinafter referred to as “the Event”).

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • 2.1. Cancellation by Participant: In the event that a participant wishes to cancel their participation in the Event, the following cancellation and refund policy shall apply:
  • Full Refund Policy: If a participant cancels more than 30 days before the event, they receive a full refund of their registration fee minus £20 admin fee.
  • Partial Refund Policy: If a participant cancels between 15 to 30 days before the event, they will receive a refund of 50% of their registration fee minus £20 admin fee.
  • No Refund Policy: If a participant cancels less than 15 days before the event, no refund can be provided.

Event Changes or Cancellation:

  • 3.1. Organisers’ Right: The event Organisers reserve the right to make changes to the Event schedule, content, or location if necessary. Participants will be notified of such changes in a timely manner.
  • 3.2. Event Cancellation: In the unlikely event that the Organisers need to cancel the Event due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, insufficient registrations), participants will be provided with a full refund of their registration fee.

Participant Responsibilities:

  • 4.1. Health and Fitness: Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are physically and mentally capable of participating in the activities offered during the Event. It is recommended that participants consult with a healthcare professional before engaging in any physically demanding activities.
  • 4.2. Compliance: Participants are expected to adhere to the instructions provided by the event Organisers, instructors, and guides during the Event. Failure to comply may result in exclusion from certain activities.

Liability and Waiver:

  • 5.1. Assumption of Risk: Participation in the Event involves inherent risks associated with outdoor activities, including but not limited to hiking, yoga and camping. Participants acknowledge and accept these risks.
  • 5.2. Waiver of Liability: Participants agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the event Organisers, instructors, guides, and any associated partners from any liability for personal injury, accidents, loss, or damage to personal property during the Event.
  • 5.3. Medical Treatment: In the event of injury or medical emergency, participants authorise event Organisers to secure medical treatment as deemed necessary. If in the event of an emergency medical rescue or evacuation from an Event of you the Participant, either by foot, helicopter or otherwise, the responsibility for the payment of such costs will lie with you, the Participant. Any subsequent costs for expenses such as hotels, food, transport etc shall be borne by the Participant. The same conditions apply if you the Participant, decide to leave the programme prematurely for medical or personal reasons or otherwise. It is important that the Participant ensures adequate insurance is in place if appropriate before departure.
  • 5.4 The Participant acknowledges and understands that the Organiser is entitled at any time and for any reason to refuse to allow him/her to continue to participate in the Event.

Photography and Media:

  • 6.1. Consent: Participants consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded during the Event. The Organisers have the right to use these materials for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be please notify the organisers before the start of the event.

Data Privacy:

  • 7.1. Data Collection: Personal information collected during the registration process will be used solely for event-related purposes, and marketing by the Organisers, and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

Governing Law:

  • 8.1 The terms and conditions of all agreements made with the Now on Earth shall be subject to, and governed by, English Law alone. Any disputes or claims are to be decided by the English Courts, and subject to English Law alone.

By registering for the event with part of full payment, participants acknowledge that he/she have read and understands the above booking conditions and agrees to be bound by them.
